The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- a strip of old backing card along the left sheet edge and upper left corner verso, with associated cockling and a short vertical paper split at centre by the elbow of the figure in the door.
- a few pale foxmarks in places.
- the sheet slightly toned.
- a small white spot (paper fibres?) in the blank area at centre.
- a short tear at the right sheet edge at centre (4 mm.).
- several pencil inscriptions verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition, mounted and unframed.
