A Group of five Etchings

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the description in the catalogue:

S. 23 (Tour)
- with margins.
- the sheet toned.
- a few unobtrusive foxmarks.
- soft cockling within the platemark..

S. 29 (Notre Dame)
- the full sheet
- a couple of small stains in the lower margins.
- a few pinpoint foxmarks and very minor creases in the margin.
- old paper hinges at the sheet corners on the reverse.

S. 39 (Pompe)
- the full sheet.
- a small stain at the lower right sheet edge and an associate small nick in the same area.
- time staining along the right sheet edge.
- old paper hinges at the sheet corners on the reverse.

S. 63 (Casimir)
- with wide margins, probably the full sheet.
- an unobtrusive horizontal central crease.
- the right sheet edge backed with paper tape, with associated darkening of the paper at the edge recto.

S. 73 (Partie)
- with wide margins
- various small pencil inscriptions at the lower sheet edge recto.
- very pale light staining.
- very minor surface dirt at the upper sheet corners.
- remains of paper hinges at the sheet edges on the reverse.

Otherwise as described in the catalogue and generally in very good condition.
