The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

i)
Executed on laid paper, window mounted. The paper is in overall good condition and the media remain clear and strong. There is some surface dirt and staining to the paper. The paper is slightly discoloured. The verso retains some adhesive marks around the edges from previous mounting. There is a small crease in the upper left-hand corner.

ii)
Executed on laid paper and laid down in the upper and lower left-hand corners and lower right-hand corner to the original mount. The paper is in overall good condition and the media remain clear and strong. There has been some discolouration to the paper. There are some small scattered spots of foxing and surface dirt. There is a tiny rubbing mark at the bottom left-hand edge.
