The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Executed on wove paper; the media remain strong and clear. There is some discolouration to the paper, but mainly outside the image. There are two backed tears in the upper and lower edge, the upper one running circa 38 mm. There is a small oval hole with an accompanying tear of 7 mm. in the upper left corner of the border. The sheet displays some surface dirt, slight crumpling and losses to the upper left and lower right corners.
