The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue description:
- most trimmed within the platemark but retaining a fillet of white paper outside the borderline
- some thin spots
- the corners of each sheet strengthened with squares of paper verso
- most sheets with foxing, mainly visible verso
- B 389 trimmed to the subject, some tiny losses
- B 392, the upper left corner disturbed, an abrasion at the right sheet edge at centre, some thin spots verso
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
