The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with a narrow margin above, trimmed on the platemark elsewhere
- a horizontal flattened fold, partially split in places and backed verso
- a few short nicks at the sheet edges
- with pale time staining and pale scattered foxmarks, mainly showing verso, a rust spot on one of the fourth figure on the right standing on the monument
- a skinned area at the upper right sheet edge (25 x 15 mm.), with associated thin spots
- a vertical printer's crease at the lower right margin (8 cm.)
- remains of old paper hinges and paper fibres verso
Otherwise as described and in good condition, framed.
