The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to, or in elaboration of the catalogue description:
- six plates with narrow margins, five trimmed to or just within the plate mark
- some sheets with brown staining and foxmarks
- some repaired tears and small made-up areas
- each hinged at upper sheet corners onto album sheets with grey framing lines, the sheets bound into a 19th century leather-bound album
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
