The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is supported with a glue lining. In visible light, the varnish is clear and a fine craquelure is visible in places. Scuffing is visible along the lower left and right edges due to frame contact. Under ultraviolet light, retouches fluoresce on the female figure at right and on the four central flowers. Additional retouches are seen on a few of the other flowers and in some places in the background. The painting presents well and may be displayed as is.
