The oak panel is stable, with a cradle attached to the reverse. There are a few scuff marks along the left edge, consistent with frame wear, and some minor scratches to the varnish lower centre. The examination under UV shows some scattered retouching and strengthening, with a heavier varnish in some parts. The grain of the wood is faintly visible through some of the thinner glazes. Overall the picture presents well.
