The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The bronze with a rich brown patina. Some rubbing and wear to the highpoints, including the top of the back and proper front left leg. Some scattered waterspots to the surface. An area of wear to the proper back right hip. Some minor faint hairline scratches to the surface, including an approximate 11⁄2 inch scratch to the underside. Two hooves with later metal supports for the associated base, now slightly rusted. A small drilled hole below the proper front left leg. The tail slightly loose with a visible seam where it meets the rear, from the construction, with later nail in place. The proper left flank with an approximate 11⁄2 x 11⁄2 in. square plug. The bull slightly loose on its base. The green associated marble base with scattered nibbles to the edges, small chips and faint hairlines to the surface. One lower corner of the base previously broken off, now restuck with some associated loss.
