The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The bronze with dark brown patina. Notable wear and rubbing to the highpoints, including his abdomen and legs. The club, apparently original, now slightly loose and missing a small portion near the hand. A visible seam to both ankles. Two rectangular plugs to the back of his proper left thigh and proper right calf. Another rectangular plug to his proper right upper thigh and three round plugs to his proper right calf and ankle. An old repair to the proper left leg with some signs of minor solder, which appears to be a 17th/18th century repair. The upper proper left arm just above the elbow with an old repair. The associated stone base with natural inclusions and small chips and nibbles to the edges. Some areas of infill to the top of the base. The corners of the base with chips and losses.
