The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The bronze with minor rubbing and wear to the highpoints. The interior weights with scattered scratching and wear. The largest with two rectangular plugs to the rim. The underside of each weight with various plugs. The handle reattached to the side and top of the vessel with visible alternate holes to the interior, only visible when weights removed. Minor abrasion to the top where the handle meets the vessel. The underside with multiple drilled and removed areas, possibly to lighten the overall weight. Some scattered old solder repairs to the underside of the lid.
