The upper section of the frame appears to be later replacement as not made of walnut and probably a repaired break but does not include any of the carved scene. The surface with a wash or lightly painted grey surface slightly rubbed. A few small repairs to the higher relief including the reins and bits of horses and two ears of several horses. Several other horse heads with small chips.
