Called the TRIONDA, meaning three (Tri) waves (Onda), the ball’s red, green and blue design pays homage to the three host countries and incorporates iconography significant to each.

This ball utilized Connected Ball Technology to track the movement of the ball in play to send data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system in real time. The data collected from this ball confirms nearly 15 minutes of usage time, encompassing 438 touches including the shot on goal by Oswin Appollis for South Africa at the 80:04 minute mark.
