First edition, limited to 250 copies, signed by the author. Woolf's powerful essay on illness gave a female voice to the genre. Written in 1925, it originally appeared in T.S. Eliot's The Criterion in January 1926. This is copy no. 51. Kirkpatrick A14.

Octavo. Blue-green cloth boards, vellum spine. Pictorial dust jacket printed in grey, black, and yellow (light wear and several short closed tears to extremities).
