Lot Essay

This fantastical landscape is rooted in reality and the imaginary. The panoramic view shows the sequence of day into night from left to right. The desert base is dotted with military personnel and twenty-eight rocket-powered vehicles, both actual and proposed crafts as a part of the space program of the 1960s.
