Lot Essay

This Paddington was created by 13-year-old Maya, who wanted to represent all the people who have worked hand-in-hand to make the world a safe place for children.
Children and young people are involved in shaping the services and activities at the NSPCC, so it was only right that this Paddington was designed by a young person. Maya won the competition to provide the artwork for this bear. Watch this video to learn more about Maya's Bear.

The NSPCC are very disappointed by the recent vandalism of Maya’s bear. The bear is currently in the workshop and will be restored to its original condition within the next week, ready for the end of the auction.
