Lot Essay

Rock and roll superstar Liam Gallagher has swapped Paddington's signature blue duffle coat for a green parka, the trademark jacket usually associated with Liam himself. As Paddington was travelling all the way from Darkest Peru in South America, Liam thought that he may not have heard about British Mod fashion yet.
Carnaby Street is the ideal introduction to the mod style for Paddington as the area has a rich fashion and musical history. Since the 1960s, this bustling Soho street has been the home of cutting-edge trends. Liam felt so strongly attached to Carnaby that he even opened his flagship menswear store, Pretty Green, not far from this location.
