Lot Essay

Paddington Bear is welcomed into the Brown family when he first arrives into London. In the new Paddington movie, the family housekeeper and nanny, Mrs Bird, is played by BAFTA-winning actress, Julie Walters.
Julie chose a literal interpretation of the primrose flower for Paddington in reference to the beautiful green space where he sits on top of Primrose Hill. The vista from up there is one of the best views in London and certainly one that Paddington himself would admire.
Julie is excited to be supporting such a good cause as the NSPCC.
