Lot Essay

Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason, has placed Paddington at the heart of one of his band's most famous albums, Wish You Were Here. The reverse of the album cover depicted a man with a blank face wearing a bowler hat and dark suit. Paddington is bringing to life one of the most iconic rock images of all time.
Nick is known as a hard-working musician. He is the only member of Pink Floyd to feature on all their albums since forming in 1965. Paddington has also tried his paw at drumming, volunteering to stand-in for a drummer in a local band while on a family trip to France in the book “Paddington Abroad”, even though he was so small he couldn’t see over the instrument!
The O2 Arena is a fitting location for this musical bear. It is the world’s busiest arena and has played host to the biggest names in music, from Rihanna to The Rolling Stones. Check out upcoming events or pop in for a spot of bowling.
