The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and center lower edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. A pinpoint spot of wear is visible to the upper right corner. A small soft crease is visible to the upper left edge. A small spot of craquelure with a few associated losses is visible below center in a black passage. Several pinpoint spots of discoloration are visible occasionally to the lower quadrants in unpainted passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
