Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is laid down on the reverse of the mount with masking tape along the edges. The right vertical edge of the sheet is uneven. The collage element adheres well to the support, and there is some associated rippling of the sheet around it. The adhesive has yellowed slightly, predominantly along the upper edge of the collage element. There are two diagonal creases due to the artist's working method, and scattered soft handling marks in places. There are three minute spots of foxing running along one of the diagonal creases. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work is in generally good condition.
