The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is affixed at the upper corners and center lower edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. A horizontal crease is below center, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
