The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board. The left and lower edge of the sheet are deckled. Small, soft creases are to the lower left corner and left upper edge. There is minor adhesive residue to the collaged elements, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. A few pinpoint spots of foxing are visible occasionally, predominately to the lower quadrants. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
