The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheets are hinged to the backing board intermittently and undulate slightly. The side edges of the top sheet are deckled. Artist's pinholes scattered throughout and a pinhole with an associated tear is to the upper left corner. Two passages of skinning are to the lower left quadrant of the upper sheet. Adhesive residue and associated loss are visible to the left edge where the sheets are joined, presumably vestiges of the artist's working method. Minor wear is to the lower left corner of the bottom sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
