The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Not examined out of the frames.
(i) The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to the underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly throughout. There are soft creases in places. There are two hairline depressions to the lower right corner due to the artist's working method.
(ii) The sheet is laid down on the underlying support. The sheet has yellowed slightly, predominantly to the extreme edges, presumably due to the adhesive used. There is a minute nick to the extreme upper right corner.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the works are in generally good condition.
