The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The edges, particularly the lower edge, are uneven, as visible in the online illustration. There are minute flakes of silver leaf which have lifted. There are two artist's pinholes in the upper corners. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of inpainting. Overall, it is our view that the work is in generally very good condition.
The work is sold unframed.
