The sheet is hinged periodically along the edges to the backing board, and has a right irregularly shaped and deckled edge. A slight shift in tone is visible overall. Faint discoloration is to the extreme edges. Vertical creases are to the lower right quadrant, presumably a vestige of the artist's choice of support, and small, soft creases are occasionally to the edges. There are minute voids in areas of heavier paint application, presumably in keeping with the nature of the medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
