The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board. Pinholes are visible to the corners, and a minute tear in association with a pinhole is visible to the lower left corner, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. A pinpoint spot of discoloration is visible to the lower left quadrant. Minor wear is visible to the lower left corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
