The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The lower edge of the sheet is deckled. Minor wear is visible to the upper right corner. Fine cracking and drying cracks are visible intermittently, predominantly to the pink passage and to the upper left corner and lower corners. A pinpoint accretion is visible to the upper left edge in a pink passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
