The sheet is hinged periodically along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Minor wear is to the edges and corners, and faint discoloration is to the lower edge. Pinholes are to the upper corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A minute tear is to the center left edge, and one is above the center right edge. Small, soft creases are to the center upper edge and upper right corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
