Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet undulates slightly, presumably due to previously being stored rolled. There are two artist's pinholes to the lower corners, and soft handling creases in places to the extreme edges. The extreme vertical edges have been reinforced in places with toned paper from the reverse. When examined under ultraviolet light, these areas fluoresce slightly. The reverse of the sheet has yellowed slightly, predominantly to the lower half. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work is in generally good condition.
Frame: 54 1/2 x 46 1/8in. (138.5 x 117cm.). For images of the work in its frame, please contact the department at pwconline@christies.com
