The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board, and undulates slightly. There is faint discoloration to the edges and a small disturbed fiber is to the center lower edge, both visible underneath the mat. Faint handling marks are occasionally to the edges, and three small creases are to the center upper edge. Pinpoint spots of foxing are occasionally to the edges visible underneath the mat. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
