The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Faint handling marks are to the lower right edge and upper center edge. Pinholes are to the upper corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. There are minute losses with associated lifting to the center of the green figure's face and to the center left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
