The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There is some slight rubbing to the extremes of all four corners of the upper panel. There is a small abrasion to the upper left corner of the lower panel. There is slight lifting with two associated minute cracks and pinpoint paint loss at the extreme lower left corner of the lower panel. There is faint rubbing with an associated pinpoint paint loss to the upper right corner of the lower panel. There is slight rubbing to the centre right vertical edge of the lower panel. When examined under ultra-violet light there is no indication of inpainting.

La structure de l'oeuvre est en bonne condition. Présence d'une légère trace de frottement dans les quatre angles du panneau supérieur. Une légère abrasion dans l'angle supérieur gauche du panneau inférieur. Un petit point de frottement avec un petit manque de matière dans l'angle supérieur droit du panneau inférieur. Présence d'un léger frottement au milieu du bord droit du panneau inférieur. Examiné à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent.
