GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this pieces acquired after its initial manufacture.
Famille rose dish:
- chips to the mouth rim, one with an associated hairline crack
- wear to the gilt decoration
- foot rim has been polished
Tea bowls and covers:
- one with chip to handle of cover, chip to mouthrim of bowl, and the base has a dent which is inherent to manufacture
- the other with polishing to rim of the cover of the handle and chip to the rim of the cover
Blue and white bowl:
- a chip to the mouth rim, with associated overpainting
- the foot rim has been polished
Blue and white dish:
- two restuck chips on the mouth rim with associated overpainting
- foot rim has been polished
