FIVE BLUE AND WHITE VESSELS
GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
The dish, pair of teabowls with covers, and saucers are painted with meandering lotus blossoms in famille rose enamels and gilt. The dish is inscribed on the base Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue and of the period (1875-1908); the teabowls and covers with a four-character hallmark Jinyu zhen cang ('Precious Collection of Treasure'). The blue and white dish is finely painted with lotus meander. The bowl is painted on the sides with floral stems below a decorative rim. Both the dish and bowl are inscribed on the base Guangxu six-character marks in underglaze blue and of the period (1875-1908).
Dishes and bowl: 6 7/8, 6 1/8, 5 ½ in. diam. and 4 1/8 in. high (17.4, 15.5, 14, and 10.5 cm.)
