A GROUP OF EMBELLISHED GILT-BRONZE BELT FITTINGS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The fittings are of various shapes and types, including two inlaid with a white jade plaque, one of which is carved with archaistic scroll patterns, the other with three goats (sanyang); one with an agate plaque flanked by jadeite inlay; one in two parts inlaid with blue-grey glass 'cabochons', and rose quartz and turquoise cabochons; one an openwork belt hook with a three-dimensional 'peach' branch under glass; and a two-part gilt-bronze clasp.
