A GROUP OF FIVE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAINS
LATE QING DYNASTY
The first bowl is decorated in iron red with bats and shou characters with a six-character hallmark duo fu duo shou tang zhi (‘Made for the Hall of Abundant Happiness and Long Life’) in iron red on the base. The pair of bowls are decorated with archaistic scrolls and shou characters interspersed with bats and pendent chimes, and with the Three Abundances painted in the interiors. The doucai bowl is decorated with iron-red trees interspersed with pomegranates, an apocryphal Yongzheng six-character mark in underglaze blue in double circles on the base. The dish is decorated with peach trees, bats, and shou characters, a Jiaqing six-character seal in iron red on the base.
8 3/8, 6 ¾, 6 5/8, and 7 3/8 in. (21.2, 17.1, 16.8, and 18.7 cm.) diam.
