A GROUP OF LAC BURGAUTÉ TRAYS AND PEACH-FORM CUPS
17TH-18TH CENTURY
Each tray is inlaid in mother-of-pearl with scenes of scholars and their attendants in a garden setting, the reverse inlaid with a different four-character inscription. One cup is inlaid with a scholar and attendant in a garden setting. The other cup is inlaid with a crane and a horse in a garden.
tray: 4 1/8 in. and cup: 3 7/8 in. wide
