TWO KESI PANELS AND TWO EMBROIDERED PANELS
LATE QING DYNASTY
Two panels are decorated with a lishui stripe beneath crashing waves, amidst bats and the endless knot centered by a shou character worked in ochre, purple, blue, yellow and green, all forming an unfinished purse. The other two panels are decorated in peking knot with meandering lotus scroll surrounding a butterfly.
