Modelled as a spirally gadrooned and diamond-cut baluster vase flanked by scrolling handles mounted with griffons and centred by a circular enamel dial, with later platform lever escapement, on a square base cast with flowers raised on bun feet

This clock is in overall good decorative order.
The ormolu with minor areas of wear. The base with some tarnish.
The right arm with very slight movement at the top.
The enamel dial with a few shallow chips around the winding hole. The ormolu ring encircling it with a scratch above the 'XII'.
The glass base with a few old chips, including a larger one to the front right corner.
The movement not original, as previously stated in the cataloguing.
