The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This mirror is in overall very good decorative order and ready to place.
As previously stated, the mirror frame is early 19th century and the remaining decoration later.
The giltwood with some very minor scattered chips to the carved edges and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age and handling.
There is some movement to the joins, as seen in the cracks to the frame visible in the photograph.

The candle arms are externally wired for electricity. Electrical components but must be reconditioned prior to use. We strongly advise that the item is reconditioned by an appropriately qualified
