The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
These cabinets are in overall good decorative order.
There is the inevitable craquelure to the lacquered surface throughout, consistent with age. The surface has been re-varnished over time and areas decoration refreshed, such as the flowers to the supports bordering the front doors.
There some small losses to the raised decoration, including to the sections of the central clouds on one cabinet and to a flower to the right side of the front apron, but which are not immediately noticeable.
The brass mounts with rubbing and tarnish.
There is some minor separation to the joins and areas of shrinkage, which is largely contained to the reverse and baseboards.
With some expected wear to the feet.
Lacking one bolt to pair of doors of one cabinet.
Structurally stable and ready to place.
