The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
These vases and covers present very well overall.
Overall with some light surface wear to the decoration and primarily to the gilding, as to be expected.
There are a few faint hairline cracks, largely only visible against the white ground, and most of which appear to be in the making.
One cover with a restored break to the border edge, approximately 61⁄4 in. long; the inside of the flange with a few shallow chipped losses. The other cover with the tail to lion-dog finial lacking.
The top rim to the body of each vase with a few 'nibbled' chips.
Ready to place.
