Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
These boxes are in overall very good condition. With only very light surface wear, almost entirely to the underside, as to be expected. The larger box with very minor 'nibbled' chips to the inside edges where the top, tray, and base meet. The base with a small chip to side edge. The smaller box with fading and light wear to the fabric interior. The rope with fading to colour and torn on one side with the remaining section off but retained. Very decorative and ready to place.
