The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This stick stand (or umbrella holder) is in overall good and ready to place condition.
The wood with some signs of shrinkage throughout.
The front paws and lower proper-right paw each with a restored break.
The brass whip with some signs of tarnish/verdigris, as to be expected. The area between the dog's paws re-gilt, possibly concealing minor restoration.
The base with some wear, consistent with age and use. One back foot with a small loss and minor signs of old woodworm, now apparently inactive. The lead lining possibly later and with some traces of white residue.
Structurally secure and ready to place.
