The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Wear consistent with age and handling, each corner with pre-perforated 2 inch split, loss to lower right corner including the 'e' in 'George', peripheral discolouration to paper, unevenly trimmed by the artist from a larger sheet at right edge, a 1.5 inch tear to left edge, creasing to upper edge and corners, some spots of smudging and bleeding to artwork from moisture splashes, a handful of small stains and blemishes, the inscription to reverse in good condition.
