The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-One section of the rim was broken into two pieces and reattached, measuring approx. 5.5 cm. wide
-There are some old breaks, the longest measuring approx. 6.5 cm. long
-There are areas of malachite and cuprite encrustations
-There are some scratches to the surfaces
-X-ray is available upon request
