Details
The cup is carved in the form of a recumbent lion nurturing a cub at its side. The top of the lion's head is flat to form the base and the underside is hollowed to serve as the receptacle. The ewer is shaped as a gnarled pine log with branches forming the handle and spout. The cover has a tree-shrew finial.

Ewer: 5⅜ in. (13.5 cm.) high
