Details
The bamboo brush pot is carved and pierced in openwork depicting a bustling landscape scene in which scholars and attendants are engaged in various leisurely pursuits; the bamboo box and cover are finely carved with six overlapping petals forming the shape of a mallow flower.
Brush pot: 5⅜ in. (13.5 cm.) high
Box: 4 in. (10 cm.) diam.
